This poster was another assignment from my Graphic Design 2 class. The assignment for this project was to make a concert poster for a musical artist. The goal was to take the music (a melody of sounds) and trying to compile them into color, type and graphics. The class had a selection of artist to choose from. I choose Lianne la Havas because I love her voice and melodies of each song. Within the poster I gave homages to Lianne’s work. For example, one of her songs is Green & Gold. So I made the color scheme a tertiary between green, gold and purple.
I had more planned for this poster. I was gonna have the pillow be cross-stitched. Though, it was taking too much time and didn't look good with the overall design.
